Grief.You dream of grief.   
You dream of a tearing, sobbing scream that never ends, racing towards both ends of the planet, wanting every living being to know its sadness.   
Your heart feels like it’s stopped beating, and your throat seizes up, choking on every word you’ve ever wanted to say but never did and now you can’t. The tearing, sobbing scream is you and you can’t help it.  
 
You can’t do anything but scream, as if it would fix all that had been broken. Scream until your throat scratches and bleeds from the power of your voice. No crying, don’t cry, never cry but for crying out. Grief.

NothingOne day, you looked out your front door and there was nothing there.   
And you couldn't tell what color nothing was, or from what direction it came from, just that it was there. And when you think about it, maybe it had always been there, but you had just never noticed it.  You step out your front door into nothing, holding on to the door handle, and you turn around. And you see that where you came from there is nothing.   
Just you and the door.   
You walk back into your nothing-that-used-to-be-something and you shut the door and you let go. And for the first time, nothing sees you.

Okay forget it, I've changed my mind. We should go to Orientation. I mean thats where everyone gets back into groups and friends and stuff. Plus I need to find SOMEONE to take an intensive with. I want to take Jennifer's poetry journal thing but not if no ones in it! I mean what if its all freaking 7th graders? No way man. But that one is the easier to sign up in I mean Jennifers my group leader. I don't want to take Creative Writing with you and Daniel, I'll be a third wheel.

I don't think I want to go to orientation. I mean I think I'm past being so nervous about starting school again so now going is just a waste of two days I could do something better with.

I can't believe school is starting again so soon.
